Théodred was killed in struggle in the reserve, although in the film he was only significantly wounded and introduced back to Meduseld alive before succumbing to his wounds, possibly with support from Gríma. Dies Differently in Adaptation:- At the climax of the tale, Gollum dies even though falling into Mount Doom with the Ring, but the reserve and the film depict the specific conditions a bit otherwise.
