In 2007, Fillion and author PJ Haarsma co-established the non-gain business Kids Need to Read, to help encourage kid's imaginations by acquiring additional books into underfunded libraries. While not entirely concentrated on revenge porn, the older non-gain business Without My Consent provides legal resources connected to it and lobbies to protect the privacy and free of charge speech legal rights of on the internet harassment victims.
