The album's first solitary was "Rising Up" that includes Chrisette Michele and Wale. Rather than relying on samples, the album was recorded dwell, with addresses (together with "Celestial Blues", that includes the song's initial artist, Andy Bey) remaining reinterpreted by the band. The late J Dilla is honoured on distinct instances all through the album.
