Walden afterwards insists that Alan remain with him forever when Alan, with Bridget's aid, will save him from Courtney (Jenny McCarthy), a femme fatale who beforehand had a romance with Charlie, and was out to get Walden's income. Towards the stop of time 10, Lyndsey breaks up with Alan right after she feels like all the spark in their romantic relationship is long gone. Alan and Walden turned greatest mates immediately after that.
