Don't believe anybody is familiar with anything at all any far better than you do, but if it turns out that they do, acknowledge it, thank them, but eventually realise that it is the greatness in you that recognises it. I'd say know particularly who these handful of are who have a thing to teach you, and see as a result of people who like to think they have.
