It is not known how extensive Murdoch will continue being as News Corporation's CEO. On 14 July 2011 the Culture, Media and Sport Committee of the House of Commons served a summons on Murdoch, his son James, and his former CEO Rebekah Brooks to testify ahead of a committee 5 times later.
