The transit centre serves close to twenty routes, earning it a single of the largest transit facilities in the county. The Montgomery County public transit bus system, Ride On, serving Montgomery County with more than one hundred bus routes, operates a big transit hub in Germantown known as the Germantown Transit Center. The BlackRock Center for the Arts is located in the downtown Germantown, at the Germantown Town Center.
