In the remaining vote, the Social Democrats, the Left Party, and the Greens supported the bill, while opposition to the proposals in the Riksdag was only moderate, the opposition parties believing that the monthly bill would be handed anyway. The resultant bill (1982) only dealt with pornography but offered some funding for analysis on prostitution.
