Intent on pursuing a solo job as a rapper, he unveiled his debut studio album, The College Dropout (2004), to important and business good results. Because of his association with D-Dot, West was not able to launch a solo album, so he fashioned and became a member and producer of the Go-Getters, a late-1990s Chicago rap team composed of him, GLC, Timmy G, Really Doe, and Arrowstar.
