Milstead produced a huge coterie of good friends, between them David Lochary, who became an actor and costar in quite a few of Divine's later on films. Many of his pals, a team which came to be regarded as "the Dreamlanders" (and who bundled Divine, Lochary, Mary Vivian Pearce and Mink Stole), appeared in some of his reduced-finances productions, filmed on Sunday afternoons.
