The Jimi Hendrix Experience produced two productive albums throughout 1967, Are You Experienced and Axis: Bold as Love, that innovate each guitar, trio and recording strategies. Spooky Tooth produced their 2nd album Spooky Two in March 1969. The album was an essential tricky rock milestone. Gram Parsons with The Byrds introduced the influential LP Sweetheart of the Rodeo in late 1968, forming the foundation for state rock.
