There ended up times when my scene associates ended up men and women I cared deeply about, people with whom I experienced shared meals and birthdays and very long talks and intimacies of all sorts, whom I understood so well that a handful of hrs into a scene, the director, the cameraman, and the production assistant just stood there, awed by the fantastic communications of our bodies.
