The National Women's Rights Convention in 1852 was also disrupted, and mob action at the 1853 convention arrived near to violence. Gerrit Smith, its applicant for president, sent a speech shortly later on at the National Liberty Convention in Buffalo, New York that elaborated on his party's contact for women's suffrage.
