The premise is that von Trier worries director Jørgen Leth, his close friend and mentor, to remake his aged experimental movie The Perfect Human (1967) five moments, every single time with a distinctive "obstruction" (or impediment) specified by von Trier. Shocked by what he sees, he confronts the Ya̧nomamö in the village, through which time he plays new music from a tape recorder.
