The next working day, Beetle and Thorn go lacking, and Storm, Lucky, Mickey, Moon and Breeze keep track of them down to the deserted city, discovering them to be leashed with ropes and being saved in a trailer home by the design employee Longpaws as pets. Lucky, Snap and most of the previous Leashed Dogs go on a brief mission to alert the building worker Longpaws in the close by abandoned coastal town about the new Growl.
