From commence to complete, McQueen fires on all cylinders, shining a light-weight on a mostly overlooked piece of history and drawing excellent performances out of the full forged (but in particular Parkes and Malachi Kirby). Particular praise will have to also be offered to cinematographer Shabier Kirchner.
