In 1977, Divine co-starred in the revue Restless Underwear, together with Canadian rock band Rough Trade, which performed at Massey Hall in Toronto. Bernard Jay, Divine's manager, mentioned that it was a "gigantic catastrophe", as Divine did not have as big a section in the revue as audience members envisioned. On several situations he would have his photograph taken with them and often use these visuals for history addresses and posters.
