I sai, genuinely, you Americans have these types of a jolly queer language. To the uninitiated it appears absurd to listen to males and girls addressing servants and retailers in the identical idiotic language with which fond mothers and fathers normally cuddle their offspring but even extra laughable is it to listen to guys swear in "pigeon English," at an unkind or unruly servant.
