At age 13, West wrote a rap tune referred to as "Green Eggs and Ham" (the title of a very best-promoting kid's e-book by Dr. Seuss) and persuaded his mom to spend for time in a recording studio. The song however arrived at the best twenty of the Billboard pop charts, even with marketplace executives' predictions that a tune made up of these types of blatant declarations of faith would under no circumstances make it to the radio.
