Nixon advocated a "New Federalism", which would devolve electrical power to state and nearby elected officials, although Congress was hostile to these strategies and enacted several of them. As part of his "New Federalism" sights, he proposed grants to the states, but these proposals were being for the most part missing in the congressional price range course of action.
