Lottery officials say all winners should sign the backs of their tickets promptly and place them in a protected location.
The 2017 bill would have established fantasy sports regulations and expected DFS operators to register with the Department of the Secretary of State.
The Texas Lottery posted on Twitter early Thursday that a single of the winning tickets was sold at Appletree Food Mart in Princeton, Texas.
The other jackpot ticket was sold in Wisconsin, according to the Powerball website.
