In 1995, Freedman curated the display Minky Manky at the South London Gallery. In November 1993, Emin had her initial solo exhibit at White Cube, a contemporary artwork gallery in London. The consequence was her "tent" Everyone I Have Ever Slept With 1963-1995, which was to start with exhibited in the display.
