A radial street network totals 29,145 miles (46,904 km) of major roadways, 2,173 miles (3,497 km) of motorways and 213,750 miles (344,000 km) of paved streets. Chile has about 82,000 km of streets, 20,000 km of which are paved, and about 2,000 km are divided highways. In 1950 there had been possibly much less than 20,000 non-white residents in Britain, pretty much all born abroad.
