In a weirdly fitting instance of this trope, the 3rd key installment of Sequelitis (which dealt with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) was received significantly even worse than the former two, staying criticized for its Bias Steamroller arguments and transferring away from "these items are lousy since of inadequate style and design" and in direction of "these items are lousy simply because they're diverse.
