Portland's downtown options two teams of contiguous metropolis blocks devoted for park space: the North and South Park Blocks. The 37-acre (15 ha) Tom McCall Waterfront Park was created in 1974 alongside the length of the downtown waterfront following Harbor Drive was eradicated it now hosts massive events all through the calendar year.
