In September 1986, the Operations 2A and 2B buildings, equally copper-shielded to stop eavesdropping, opened with a dedication by President Ronald Reagan. NSA made a decision to move some of its functions to a new satellite facility. The OPS2A building, the tallest developing in the NSA advanced and the site of substantially of the agency's operations directorate, is accessible from the customer middle.
