The attack targeted 6 exit nodes, lasted for 20-3 days, and discovered a total of 10,000 IP addresses of energetic Tor buyers. They did not say what the vulnerability was, but Wired speculated it was the "Circuit Fingerprinting Attack" presented at the Usenix stability meeting.
