FFWPU leader Dan Fefferman wrote to his colleagues acknowledging that Farrakhan's and Moon's sights differed on many difficulties but shared a see of a "God-centered household". In 2009 Moon's son Hyun Jin Moon and former UC leader Chung Hwan Kwak established the Global Peace Foundation as an alternative group to the UC.
