She is afterwards captured by the Boys so they can sort an alliance with Soldier Boy, who kills her upon studying of what she did to him. Near, who applied underhanded tricks and lies to flip the job force against Light, then later on talked down to Aizawa, proceeds residing as the 3rd L and even commands the job force on occasion (whilst the alliance may well be shaky).
