The BP is referred to the pressure being measured from a person through the upper arm. It is commonly measured from the brachial artery that is the major blood vessel which is carrying blood away of the heart. The BP is commonly articulated by the systolic and diastolic pressures like 110/70. The arterial pressure is usually measured trough a sphygmomanometer that in history uses the height of the mercury reflecting to the circulating pressures.
