Wolves face cougars along portions of the Rocky Mountains and adjacent mountain ranges. In Israel, Central Asia and India wolves may perhaps come upon striped hyenas, ordinarily in disputes more than carcasses. In Asia and Europe, their diet regime is dominated by wild medium-sized hoofed mammals and domestic species.
