The Left Bank, or Rive Gauche, team is a contingent of filmmakers affiliated with the French New Wave, initial determined as these types of by Richard Roud. In France, the General Strike centered in Paris in May 1968 united French students, and approximately toppled the authorities. The American Indian Movement (or Aim) is a Native American grassroots movement that was started in July 1968 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
