Renovations on the higher-ground suites have been completed, while reduced-flooring suites had been in the system of staying upgraded. The Hard Rock closed on February 3, 2020, for renovations. Virgin Hotels and a team of traders purchased the Hard Rock in 2018 and introduced options to renovate and rebrand it as a Virgin lodge.
