On sixteen July 390 BC, a Gallic army less than the management of tribal chieftain Brennus, achieved the Romans on the banking companies of the Allia River 10 miles north of Rome. The town of Rome grew from settlements all-around a ford on the river Tiber, a crossroads of site visitors and trade. This brought about a difficulty, in that Rome came to have a massive male population but was bereft of ladies.
