This track has a light, insistent melody and a veneer of sophistication increased than even the relaxation of this advanced record. We can hear the beginnings of the decline of subtlety and sophistication that will mar so a great deal of Jackson’s later on perform. This feels to me to be the most total-bodied and textured example of Jackson’s later on perform.
