Although the introduction of film as an artistic medium is not evidently outlined, the business, public screening of ten of the Lumière brothers' small movies in Paris on 28 December 1895 can be regarded as the breakthrough of projected cinematographic movement shots. The screening consisted of ten movies and lasted approximately 20 minutes.
