The internal combustion engine was a technological marvel in its day, but worthless as a purchaser superior right until a clutch, transmission, steering wheel and throttle were being related to it. So the GUI has long gone past currently being an interface to personalized computer systems, and turn into a type of meta-interface that is pressed into services for just about every new piece of customer technology.
