Three of Moon's non-governmental businesses (NGOs) - Universal Peace Federation, Women's Federation for World Peace and Service for Peace - are in consultative position with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. In June 2006 the Houston Chronicle noted that in 2004 Moon's Washington Times Foundation gave a $1 million donation to the George Bush Presidential Library.
