He upcoming performed and organized for Ed Sullivan's manufacturing corporation, arranging a new topic for The Late Show, while crafting, developing, and singing his radio and tv jingles. In 1964, Manilow met Bro Herrod, a CBS director, who requested him to arrange some tracks for a musical adaptation of the melodrama The Drunkard.
