In February 2019, a Foreign Affairs Select Committee report recommended extending identical-intercourse marriage rules in all territories with an Order in Council. The movement was passed by the General Assembly by a vote of 345 to one hundred seventy. The lawful concerns committee had two yrs to draft laws. In May 2018, the Church of Scotland voted to draft new regulations that would allow for ministers to perform exact-sex marriages.
