Raya (Kelly Marie Tran), after a youthful tragedy leaves her father (Daniel Dae Kim) turned to stone and her land fractured, must hop from group to neighborhood-collecting up the pieces of a magical gem and new quirky crew associates-so that Sisu (Awkwafina), the previous dragon, can depetrify absolutely everyone and place the globe appropriate. After all, this kind of potent needs and magic must appear with a catch.
