Perhaps some audience would be prepared to acknowledge that heroic tales are fantasies: "I would like to have the tremendous energy a superman has." They may well be fewer inclined to admit that these stories are heterosexual male domination fantasies: "I would like to have the ability to management very hot females" (however to admit this would be to accept that these comics’ chivalric code is a sham).
