In general, we tend to use the phrase enthusiasm in its feeling as struggling primarily in relation to intentional and embodied subjects (and, in Western Judeo-Christian tradition, specifically in relation to Christ’s crucifixion and struggling). And, unlike suffering, this devotion is not passive but somewhat asserts our corporeal and affective adherence to many others and the aim entire world.
