Milstead formulated a massive coterie of close friends, amongst them David Lochary, who turned an actor and costar in various of Divine's later on movies. Many of his good friends, a group which arrived to be acknowledged as "the Dreamlanders" (and who bundled Divine, Lochary, Mary Vivian Pearce and Mink Stole), appeared in some of his very low-price range productions, filmed on Sunday afternoons.
