The remaining episode "Endgame" has a related premise - the Bad Future is only so from Janeway's standpoint. In an episode where by the crew is unwillingly and unknowingly experimented on by an alien species, Janeway's aggression and irrationality is enhanced noticeably. At one issue she tells Tuvok to harshly punish many crew users for pretty slight items.
