Subverted when Ryan O'Reilly tells his Catholic priest cellmate that he was molested by a priest as a kid. The trope was each subverted and exploited in "Glued", when the staff was investigating the loss of life of an 8-yr-aged boy in a Catholic community and recognized that the killer had confessed the murder to a priest. This priest also turned himself in to the police and confessed.
