Each episode of Jerry Springer commenced with Springer entering the phase and getting greeted by a standing viewers (produced up of generally faculty students) pumping the air with their appropriate hand, chanting "Jerry!, Jerry!". He read through out vocabulary phrases in Chinese, and his eight or so pupils wrote them down in English. Beginning in the 2000s, Springer would get there on phase by sliding down a stripper pole.
