Part of the enchantment comes from just how zany and exotic the Mexican slang and mannerisms are to different Latin Americans (it helps that the stereotypes are very exaggerated), whereas nonetheless managing to be fairly relatable. It's a comedic Mexican sequence with a reasonably regular plot but has a serious case of Dawson Casting.
