A survey by the National Literacy Trust from 2019 showed that only 26% of men and women down below the age of eighteen used at minimum some time just about every working day examining, the least expensive amount because documents started in 2005. Interest in reading for enjoyment declined with age, with 5- to 8-year-olds being 2 times as most likely to say they relished examining when compared to fourteen- to sixteen-yr-olds.
