In a New Mexico case the subsequent calendar year, ADF argued that "citizens advocating to redefine marriage are amid the most influential teams in contemporary politics they have attained far more legislative victories, political electric power, and well-known favor in less time than nearly any other group in American record."40 Over the past 14 decades, the Supreme Court has regularly turned down several of these arguments.
